is it weird that I don't like french fries?
Since I can remember, I've never had a liking for french fries. It's odd and rare because I've never met anyone who feels the same way. I have nothing against french fries, personally. It's not like their color gives me weird vibes or their name offends me. I have no plans of starting a protest or passing out french fry hating flyers. I just haven't been able to get past the texture.
So, yes, I guess that IS weird.
But don't worry, in my opinion, curly fries are the best.
I suppose that's fact number #1.
THE REST OF THE FACTS:
My name is Abigail (or Abby), and I'm twenty-years-old. I'm an Evangelist/Missionary's daughter and the oldest of seven. My family travels full time, preaching and singing in churches across America. In-between services, we minister to the residents of local nursing homes and senior centers.
I was born in the proud state of Texas but did most of my growing up in the beautiful state of West Virginia. My dad was a pastor in a little town called Buckhannon, West Virginia for five years before we were called to Evangelism.

iNSPIRATION BEHIND THIS BLOG: |
|
There's so much contributing to why I started this blog. A few things being other amazing and inspiring blogs I've had the pleasure of reading and following.
Just to mention a few:
Aside from these wonderful blogs, another reason behind my creating this blog is, here of late, I seem to have a lot on my mind. As previously mentioned, I love to write. I'm not fantastic at it, but the practice is so calming. I usually find myself with a pen and paper when I feel stressed or when my mind is full. Sometimes, I write about the trivial things that occupy my mind. But lately, much bigger topics have me scribbling on paper like a maniac. Subjects such as the promises of God and even modesty--yes, modesty!--have been burning in my heart for a long time and I need to get it all out!
In all honesty, this blog is, in my mind, an outlet. Not a diary, but a way to reach out and share what the Lord has placed on my heart. But I don't want to do all the talking. I want to make new friends and learn more about old friends. I want to converse and share ideas and uplift one another. I want a relationship with fellow Christians!
Just to mention a few:
- Quintessentially Living - This blog contains breath-taking photos and is filled-to-the-brim with encouraging articles and entries. The author, Moriah, speaks on kindness, trials and where she finds her hope. I urge you to stop by her blog!
- Brilliantly Loved - Abby and Ashley are two of the sweetest sisters I've ever met.. Though fairly new, their blog Brilliantly Loved has already blessed me in many ways. Their spunky and bright personalities are enough to excite and encourage you to keep going, but their testimony and witness for the Lord is what gives weight to the words they share. Please stop by their blog!

INSPIRATION BEHIND THE NAME
The name of this blog, Bold Heart, was inspired by Ephesians 3:12
"In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him," (KJV) Eph 3:12
Because of Jesus, we are given hope. We are given life! Unlike the unsaved in this world, we have a reason to be happy, to smile and laugh. To be kind and love. To sing and dance. To shout and praise the name of the Lord. We have a reason to live. And I mean LIVE. We are given a reason to not just go through life, but to enjoy it and to make a difference! And because of this joy and hope, we are given permission to live boldly. To be a witness. To run the Christ confidently and cry out in faith for whatever we ask or say. And I pray this blog boldly presents the love of Jesus to everyone.
